PRESENT

What happens when you leave early

I feel like life is better when I’m not in a rush.

Seriously. Because of a highly respected nap schedule (Girl I do NOT play), I ended up leaving the house a whole hour and a half early. If you can’t be on time then be early! I got coffee and drove around. I wasn’t irritated that the drive-thru was taking for.ev.er. (No really, they gave me free coffee because it took so long). I actually didn’t even notice it. I wasn’t frustrated that the freeway was still backed up with morning traffic. I’m in no rush. I didn’t get agitated when people took their time to go when the light turned green (and I’m a dedicated honker after three seconds). And to top it all off, I treated everyone like I was feeling- hella good! (Ok, I’m trying out this NorCal phrase, and I think it worked!)

My perspective was good, and as a result, I was treating everyone that way…all because I left early.

See if it works for you, and you might just earn a free coffee too.

I am a woman who is brave enough to be honest with herself and others so that it would inspire, teach and lead the way. But really...this is me trying to be that woman.
